How do I set up call forwarding?

Open Answered and go to Settings → Call Forwarding Setup. You'll see step-by-step instructions for your specific carrier (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.). Generally, you'll dial a short code like *61*[number]# from your Phone app to forward unanswered calls to your Answered number.

Is Answered free?

Yes! Answered is completely free during the beta period. There are no charges, paid plans, or in-app purchases. Just set up call forwarding and start using your AI call assistant.

Does this work outside the US?

Currently, Answered is available for US phone numbers only. We're working on expanding to more countries. If you have a US number, the service works regardless of your physical location.

How does the AI know what to say?

Answered uses advanced AI to hold natural conversations on your behalf. Customize the greeting and voice style in Settings → Voice Style and Settings → Custom Greeting.

Will callers know they're talking to an AI?

The AI identifies itself as your assistant at the start of the call, ensuring transparency while providing a natural, helpful experience.

How do I get notified about calls?

Answered sends push notifications whenever the AI handles a call. Make sure notifications are enabled in iPhone Settings → Answered → Notifications.
