Terms of Service

1. The Service

Answered is an AI-powered call assistant operated by Suman Services ("we", "us", or "our"). The service provisions a virtual phone number to answer calls on your behalf, hold conversations, transcribe speech, detect spam, and generate AI call summaries.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the App.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Answered offers auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store ("Subscriptions") to access premium features (e.g., dedicated active phone line, AI answering services):

• Subscription Period: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, as selected by you at the time of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Manage Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase.
• Refunds: All subscription billing and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple. We cannot issue refunds directly.

4. Caller Consent and Recording Regulations

Answered uses automated systems to transcribe calls and record audio to generate text transcripts and summaries. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable call recording laws in your jurisdiction (including, but not limited to, obtaining consent from callers where required by local law). We provide automated greetings to inform callers that the call is being handled by an AI assistant.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Harass, abuse, stalk, or threaten any person.
• Engage in illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activities.
• Distribute spam, telemarketing messages, or unsolicited bulk calls.
• Interfere with or disrupt the servers or networks connected to the service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. AI call transcriptions and summaries are generated automatically using language models and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or accuracy of call routing and translations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Suman Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use or inability to use the service.
